Josh Turner and Blake Shelton are two of the big names at the top of the card for the 18th annual WGAR Country Jam on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea.

Rounding out the lineup are a trio of Jam veterans -- John Michael Montgomery, Emerson Drive and Heidi Newfield. Montgomery headlined the 2000 Jam, Emerson Drive was one of the opening acts two years later, and Newfield was on the fairgrounds stage in 2006 with her former bandmates in Trick Pony.

The Jam has a history of serving up newcomers who end up as huge stars -- Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Faith Hill and Sara Evans come to mind. This year's offering includes two artists who could make that same leap, Jake Owen ("Don't Think I Don't Love You") and Jamey Johnson ("In Color"). Local country band Lawless will open the Jam.

Local country band Lawless returns as opening act for the jam.
